Jane Heiner is the lead teacher in the Toddlers’ Room. With over 20 years of childcare experience, she has been with NWCDC since 1990. Whether needed to come in early or stay late, to cover a class or to calm an anxious new student’s parents, Ms. Jane is always there. Because this loving teacher believes that learning never stops, she continues to take early childhood education courses. |

Patricia Doby has been with NWCDC for over nine years and works with the 4 – 5 year olds. Ms. Pat is dependable, flexible and always eager to help co-workers and families alike. Encouraging others to learn by her example, she is a student at Davidson County Community College and will soon obtain a degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Pat has an extensive frog and fairy collection and enjoys the company of her grandchildren. |

Ruth Whitaker has been with NWCDC for 2 years. Ms. Ruth is the assistant teacher of the 3 year olds and this proud grandmother of three will be taking classes at Davidson Community College where she is in the Early Childhood Education tract. Her co-workers consider Ms. Ruth to be very accommodating when it comes to pitching in and helping out in any classroom. For fun Ms. Ruth loves to square dancing. Ms. Ruth is engaged and looks forward to honeymooning in the Great Smoky or Appalachian Mountains. |

Alicia Shoffner has been with NWCDC for over four years and is a teacher in the infant room. Her students are always busy learning – learning how to sit up, crawl, walk and get into everything, just what is expected of healthy, happy babies. The other teachers consider Ms. Alicia easy to get along with and cooperative to change. Ms. Alicia is working toward an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Forsyth Technical Community College. For enjoyment, Ms. Alicia watches programs on the WB channel and listens to pop music. |

Regina Potts has been with NWCDC since 2003 and is a teacher of the infants. A graduate of Mitchell Community College, Ms. Regina nurtures her young students and provides them with stimulating activities that help their social, emotional, and intellectual needs. Ms. Regina helps her students gain the knowledge necessary to reach their developmental milestones. Ms. Regina enjoys bowling and going to the beach with her son, Trey. |
