Patricia Caudell is the lead teacher in the Infants’ Room.  A NWCDC teacher for 5 years, Ms. Patricia is constantly in motion ensuring that the babies receive quality care.  It is through her attention and warmth that the infants consistently meet developmental benchmarks and thrive under her care.  She focuses infant activities on communication and interaction.


 

2007-02

 

Sonya Bailey has been with NWCDC for 6 months and is a lead teacher in the More At Four program.  Ms. Sonya is constantly in motion ensuring that her class receives the very best education.  It is through her attention and warmth that her 4 and 5 year olds continue to meet their developmental benchmarks so that when they get to “BIG SCHOOL” they will be well prepared.  When not teaching, this “shoe queen” enjoys shopping, reading and spending time with her family.       



2007-03

 

Betty Adale Cooper has been with NWCDC for 6 months and is the lead teacher of the 3 – 4 year olds.  Ms. Adale has demonstrated the innate abilities to be dependable and friendly, honest and punctual from day one.  She prepares her students for the next academic level by focusing on beginning sight words and science projects.  When not teaching, Ms. Adale is cruising and has cruised to the Bahamas, Jamaica, Caymen Islands and will visit the Virgin Islands very soon.  Ms. Adale is an Old School music diva and a former USTA tennis player. 


Melissa Burrows has been with NWCDC for over six years and is the lead teacher of the More-at-Four Classroom #1.  Because she appreciates the importance of education at any age and can walk the walk, this very busy mom and Surry Community College graduate is now working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education from Garner Webb.  Ms. Melissa is passionate about teaching and assures her students that everyday is a child-oriented day.  Ms. Melissa enjoys shopping for handbags and reading Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum mystery novels.


Angela Washington has been with NWCDC for 13 years and is the lead teacher of the toddlers.  Ms. Angela recently graduated from Forsyth Technical Community College with an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education.  In the fall, Ms. Angela will return to FTCC to complete a degree in Elementary Education.  For fun, Ms. Angela enjoys displaying her creativity by creating customized evening wear and choir robes, drawing nature scenes and watching comedy films.  Ms. Angela highly recommends the movie “Happy Feet.”
